Halloween!

We had a blast on Halloween. As you can see, Jessica was a "cute" clown and Aaron was a little ninja. We visited Christian at work, and Jessie left with so much candy in her pumpkin bucket that she decided she was done trick or treating after about five houses! We were okay with that! :) Jessie, Aaron and all their cousins in Seattle (Kate, Emma, Jane and Jack)

Loving Fall!

We have been enjoying all the festivities and activities that Fall has to offer. Here are some pics from what we have been up to...



The leaves have been so beautiful this year. Jessie is just loving it....we have different color leaves all over our house that she hauls in from outside. She has discovered that they are a pretty cool tool for craft projects!

Jessie started her first dance class...she is loving it! She recently put a sign on our door (with random letters all over a piece of paper) that says, "No mean guys allowed because I want to dance in this house all day long, everyday."

We took Jessie to the Barnum & Bailey Circus. She had a great time, but I think Christian and I had the best time just watching her!

Utah Trip!

A couple of weeks ago our family took a trip to Utah to celebrate Christian's grandpa's 90th Birthday. Happy Birthday Grandpa Clive! It was so fun to get all the extended family together to pay tribute to such a remarkable man...and of course his wife, Grandma Bea!

While in Salt Lake, we spent an afternoon with friend, Tom Rosenberg, at his beautiful home. The kids had a blast swimming, canoeing in the pool, and exploring the river in his backyard. What a beautiful place!

Our family decided to take off and hike up to the Timpanogos Caves. We don't have any pictures from inside, but Jessie had a dream a few days later about a booger cave...I guess that's pretty discriptive of how they look inside! :)

We then took off for a camping trip to Moab. The kids did awesome hiking and camping in such heat...and putting up with all the mosquitos. What gorgeous country!

Great Wolf Lodge

We spent a fun weekend at the new Great Wolf Lodge with the Norrises and Grandpa Roger. Jess had a great time on all the water slides....including the big kid slides! ...and Aaron loved splashing around in the water. Fun times!

4th of July

We did our annual 4th of July celebration at the Bellevue Park with Grandma and Grandpa Nielsen and Chris and Sarah. The fireworks were excellent....and the kids did great! We are very grateful for this country that we live in...

Oregon Coast

Kellie and the kids spent a week in Seaside, OR with the Nielsen gang. Jessie loved the ocean, but most of all she LOVED flying her kite! Every time she would say her prayers, she would thank Heavenly Father for letting her fly her kite....even BEFORE she got to fly it! :) We had a great, relaxing time. Too bad Christian had to stay home for work...although I'd go as far as to say that it was probably pretty relaxing at home also! :)
